WhatsApp Text Tricks
In this article, we are going to see the most useful text formatting
features of Whatsapp.
1. To make text Italic
To Italic the text place the underscore on both sides of the
text
Eg: _text_
Eg: _text_
2. To make text Bold
To bold the text place the asterisk on both sides of the text
Eg: *text*
Eg: *text*
3. To make text monospace
To monospace the text place the three backticks on both
sides of the text
Eg: ```text```
4. Strikethrough
To strikethrough the text place the tilde symbol on both
sides of the text
Eg: ~text~
Alternate way for text formatting
In android, select the text you want to format by long pressing the text, then you can see a box with options. In
that box there is a last icon. Tap this icon and select the format of text you want.
In iPhone, tap the text you want to format then press select or
select all, then you can see B_I_U. Then choose the format of
text you want.
