Hypothetical Planet Nine and its Existence
California Institute of Technology researchers have mathematically found the evidence on the existence of
Planet Nine in the solar system. This planet is beyond the
Planet Pluto. Otherwise called as Planet X. This Planet
has a mass of 10 times that of Earth and similar to size of Uranus and
Neptune. The orbit of this Planet is about 20 times farther from the
Sun on average than Neptune.
Planet Nine has not yet been discovered. It is debatable one in the
Scientific Community about its existence.
The name of this planet is not the actual name. Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown (California Institute of
Technology astronomers) announced new research that provides evidence of
the existence of this planet. This prediction is based on
mathematical calculations and computer simulations. They nicknamed this planet as "Planet Nine", before this "Planet X"
is used for the hunting of undiscovered object beyond Neptune.
Person who found the planet must have the naming rights of it and the name
must be approved by the
International Astronomical Union.
